HyperRing Data Bus
BPEE has developed a unique technology for managing UPS data exchange - a digital HyerRing bus network which connects multiple BPEE UPS. Using this data bus network, BPEE UPS work together under all modes of parallel operation. 
Hot plug
The major advantage of having the comunication bus in a ring circuit is that it tolerates disconnection at any point on the circuit. Any UPS on the bus can thus be completely disconnected and removed from the circuit without affecting the operation of other units on the Ring. Total isolation of failed unit or hot-plugging a unit on and off the network can be achieved. |

Inverter PowerMan System
By utilizing the digital control system, BPEE UPS incorporate intelligent PowerMan program, to provide complite protection to both the load and the UPS itself during overload and over-current conditions. 
The PowerMan program monitors the maximum permitted power dissipation of every inverter power component - expecially IGBT. Once overload is detected, the system will stop the inverter to preventdamages of the power component. |

Inverter Feed-forward control 
To further improve the inverters' dynamic response, BPEE UPS implement the feed-forward control. This feed the variations of the input directly to the output before any change in the output has been detected via the feedback ontrol loop, significantly improving inverter output stabiliy. |

Soft start with control 'warm up' 
Whenever the rectifier of an BPEE UPS is restarted, the control loop and logic undergo a 'warm up' sequence. Following this, current is gradually taken from the input to prevent inrush input current. In addition, there is no over-shooting of the DC voltage after the 'warm up'. |
